As a busy mom I'm always on the go. One of the things I'm always thriving for is how to always look put together. I find that well-made handbags make any outfit look effortlessly amazing.

Here's how WLD started:
After being diagnosed with cancer and being home with 2 of the most girly girls around I started sewing with the thought of decorating the house. I was using a sewing machine we got for our oldest daughter, which had been laying around for about two years without being used. I started making pillows to decorate our house and one given day I started a handbag/accessories class and that was it ... I was in love. Now, the girls spend most of the day in school while I work in the loft. Once they are back home, I am a full time mom.

Feeling each fabric and choosing the right leather hide for a particular bag excites me tremendously and it's a great joy for me to be able to handcraft classic functional pieces for the everyday use. The textile used for our handbags are hand-treated and hand-painted by my daughter. Yes, we are a mother/daughter team and we love every minute of it.
